Position Overview :

- Our growing company is seeking a Marketing & PR Specialist to increase our visibility, globally. As a part of this role, you would be expected to nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness and develop an enviable corporate image by developing and executing effective communication and media relations programs. You would be responsible for upholding our corporate image while increasing brand awareness, develop and maintain important relationships with media professionals, find press opportunities, and leverage our brand story across the ever-expanding digital landscape.

Job Responsibilities :

- Familiarize yourself with all products and services offered by our company.

- Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics

- Grow and maintain stellar brand awareness

- Plan, implement and manage public relations programs

- Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)

- Use SEO principles to maximize reach

- Monitor corporate image frequently and ensure it is in compliance with company brand

- Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media

- Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations, brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, etc.

- Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis

- Evaluate media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media and develop opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.

- Design and review the online content in media announcements and media kits

- Check and manage content produced for website and social media channels

- Develop and implement publicity strategies for the company's products and services & events, including a crisis management strategy

- Research and identify pitching opportunities and industry trends

- Manage enquiries from media, individuals and other organizations

- Organize events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours

- Help the internal teams manage the content and prepare the training modules for in-house training purposes.

Qualification & Required Skills:

- BSc/BA in PR, communications, journalism or similar relevant field

- Proven working experience of a minimum 3 years in content writing, marketing & public relations required

- Experience working with the Automobile industry, preferred

- Proven track record of designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level. International level exposure preferred.

- Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets

- Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews

- Ability to strategize and plan campaigns in advance.

- Solid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

- Exceptional marketing strategy skills, writing and editing skills

- Superb communication and relationship-building skills

- Thorough knowledge of current industry trends

- Knowledge of Content management system (CMS) knowledge

- Good knowledge of word processing software, ppt, Adobe products

- A passion for researching and developing strong content

- Highly creative and imaginative with strong story-telling abilities

- Have knowledge of new advertising trends and techniques

- Sharp attention to detail, with exceptional Problem solving & Analytical skills

- Ability to take initiative independent of direct supervision

- Ability to multi-task & work under pressure, and manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment
