About Neend:

- Globally more than 30% of people face Insomnia. India is the 2nd most sleep-deprived country in the world. We at Neend are on a mission to help people sleep better.


- We are a team from IIT Bombay with extensive experience in the startup and VC arena. We have done thorough research on sleeplessness, its root causes, and solutions and come up with unique solutions. We- ve started with Sleep Stories in mother tongues. These stories reduce the brain waves while listening and help to fall asleep quickly and increase the overall sleep time. Each story is crafted very carefully with the right mix of white noise, context, and relatable experience. These stories are available in Hindi, English, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu now.


- These stories have benefited 50 Lac+ people already and are available on our android app, YouTube channels and, podcasts. Here is one of our Youtube Channel (~1L subscribers) and Android app (1.5L+ users). Neend recently launched it's first consumer product too in the market, check here: www.shop.neend.app

- We have been receiving pretty good feedback from our customers. Now, In this journey we have added a couple of pretty amazing investors as well who share the vision with us of making India (and eventually the world) relax and sleep better.

About the role:

We being a digital and content first company, this role is very important for us. We would put highest importance to how we communicate, or put us out there. We want to follow consistency everywhere in our way of communication. The person joining is going to be the first hire for content in Neend team and would be part of the core team.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Be the single point of contact internally for all the things communications

- User awareness : Doing research around sleep topics and convert that into consumable format for users to create awareness about science of sleep

- Customer Acqusition : Write compelling copies for ads, help marketing team to do A/B testing around different copies.

- Social Media : Taking responsiblilyu of social media numbers /engagement (taking help from business, design and marketing team wherever required)

- Ensure the brand consistency in communication across all the platforms

- Recruit and manage the team(fulltime/interns) further (whenever required)

Skills required :

- Previous experience (3-4 years) of writing content and working with digital first organisation/startup

- Have some experience in writing engaging content (short/medium form)

- Preferably a background in mass media communications/journalism

- Diligent & hardworking, someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves to work in a early stage startup environment and be very agile

- Founder mindset of owning multiple projects end to end
