National Sales Manager - Pharma (15-25 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement a sales strategy that enables the company to deliver sustainable & profitable business growth

- Ensure planning and timely delivery of sales, channel and demand generation actions to achieve current and future business targets viz. sales, profitability and collections;

- Manage, coach and motivate the sales force to enhance efficiency and deliver results;

- Improve the sales management system that leads to efficiency and effectiveness of sales execution;

- Develop and maintain client relationship with top customers, hospitals and key opinion leaders to strengthen the market reputation and presence;

- Ensure the training programs for dealer/retailer and sales force;

- Enhance the communication with other internal departments and functions to ensure timely delivery by them of actions to support sales

- Influence global teams & secure support on India business requirements

Personnel specification

- Age - 36 - 38 years

- MBA from one of the top business school in India

- Minimum 15 years of experience predominantly in sales leading large teams with line responsibility for revenue. A couple of year exposure in marketing would be advantageous

- Prefer experience in industries which involve tough negotiations with multi brand dealers like decorative paints, consumer electronics, medical devices etc.

- Strategic thinking and excellent business acumen

- Operates with a sense of urgency to achieve more sooner

- Ability to work in less structured / entrepreneurial environment

- Ability to manage and drive multiple initiatives in parallel

- High energy, process and result-oriented and self-motivated;

- Inspirational leadership and communication skills;

- Skilled in negotiating with distributors and small-sized customers; able to develop relationships with less sophisticated business partners;

- Experience in building up and improving sales management system and process;

- Able to manage ambiguity;

- Willing to travel frequently;

- Fluent in written and spoken English
