Position Title: National Sales Manager

Immediate Superior (title): Managing Director

Job Description :

- Responsible for the overall sales, profitability and market share growth of the company.

- Proactively develop and manage IVD marketing strategies for the company.

- Lead and strategize distributors to enhance product knowledge and achieve total customer satisfaction.

- Work closely with corporate team and distributors to identify and initiate potential business prospects in India.

- Analyse market information for product positioning and strategy development.

- Support distributor to plan, organise and execute all product launches and marketing activities.

- Implement various sales strategies and management techniques in order to facilitate improved profits and increased sales volume.

- Responsibility for coordinating the sales and marketing departments as well as over site concerning the fair and honest execution of the sales processes by his staff and distribution channel partners in India.

Summary of Functional Duties & Responsibilities :

1 Strategic:

- Develop and implement strategic and annual business plans to meet the current to long term business objectives.

- Optimize organization effectiveness with appropriate structure.

- Recruit, retain and develop human capital to meet and exceed performance and service expectations.

- Cultivate contacts with diagnostic industry stakeholders to ensure company's strategic presence.

- Budget Management to ensure achievement of specific financial objectives.

2 Operations:

- Management of Company's Indian Business entity to achieved desired profitability and customers satisfaction levels.

- Set up control systems to preserve fiduciary integrity within the company

- Manage confidence levels of the partnerships of local employees and distributor/tendering agents.

- Coordinate and liaise with regional and headquarters management to achieve operational synergy.

- Provide operational leadership to ensure consistent progress of day to day progress.

Job specification :

Minimum Education Required :

Bachelor degree in management or related life sciences with preferably MBA in General Management.

Minimum Experience Required:

Minimum 15 years working experience in IVD market with 3 - 5 years of managerial experience at senior level.

Skills and Knowledge Required :

- Strong general management and people management skills with similar experience of managing an operation preferred.

- Knowledge of local and global diagnostics or related healthcare industry and technology trends.

Attitude Required:

- Good leaders capable of managing a team with the ability and willingness to work as part of a larger team to ensure the success of the company's targets and goals.

Results and people focus, ability to inspire and motivate staff cross cultural sensitivity and understanding, willing to travel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language.

Ability to manage a rapidly changing environment.
