I. JOB DETAILS

Job Title

AGM / DGM / GM Sales (Job Role - National Head)

Department : Domestic Sales

Reporting Supervisor : CMD

II. JOB PURPOSE :

The AGM / DGM / GM (Job Role - National Head) will be responsible for developing team, implementing various business plan initiatives, brand promotion activities execution, Ensuring strong distribution channel at each market place, adherence on all system / policy/procedures by the sales team and driving desired deliverables/contribution/ROI from them as per the company business goals.

1) VFD's for solar as well as grid market.

2) Solid state motor starters

3) Solar hybrid inverters

IV. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
 
Core Responsibilities :

- Identification of new business opportunities for increasing market reach/share and business development by appropriate channel expansion plans in India and Abroad

- Setting up well equipped sales team, hiring managing etc

- Setting sales and marketing KPI's to manage activity within the team

- Setting up a network of system integrator who can buy the products as OEM

- Channel management and Channel Expansion as per the business goals

- Visiting potential parties for achievement of desired business goals

- Set clear objectives with each team member which are consistent to organizational goal

- Review progress results, objectives and take corrective actions

- Set training objectives for the team to ensure development

- Forecast Quarterly Sales objectives in advance, Analyze market trends and forecast stock requirements

- Synergize with production team and plan monthly stocks

- Planning and execution of brand promotional programs for Trade partners and aligning them to business goals

- Plan & execute the monthly business plan

- Prepare Distributor/Dealer/OEM wise and Employee wise sales achievement plan

- Regular review of the Trade Partners MOU achievement Channelize processes to achieve the Trade Partners MOU Empower Trade Partners to enhance business development

- Resolution of issues from major channel partners by taking necessary corrective action as and when required.

- Monitoring and guidance for planning and execution of Brand awareness programs for generating market demand

- Strategize trade marketing inputs

- Train the Team Members as well as the Trade partners at regular intervals

- Empower team & trade partners

- Data Analysis and report management-Competitors data & Mechanic Data of assigned area.

- Reporting on activities towards targets to the company directors

- Attending meetings with customers alongside sales team

- Putting together activities execution calendar plan and strategy framing for the company

- Contribute to brand and category growth

- Maintaining Target HR% Cost to Sales less than 4%

People :

Responsibilities : 

Distributors, Dealers, System Integrators, OEM, Key Accounts, ET / MT /ASM / BDM / BM / RSM, Service Engineers, Mechanics, Other Influencers

- Handholding team by visiting them for on field for demonstration and training purpose as per requirement

VI. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum

Qualifications :

Technical Graduate (B.E./B. Tech.), M. Tech., Post Graduation / MBA

Experience :

A minimum of 15-25 years experience in channel sales and in a leadership

Role : 

Technical Skills :

- Should have good knowledge in the sales processes

- Hands on experience on computer soft skills

Behavioral Skills :

Leadership Skills, Analytical Skills, Proactive, Excellent Communication

Skills, Business Forecasting, Target Oriented Approach, Excellent motivational and leadership skills to inspire performance
