POSITION TITLE National Sales Head

DEPARTMENT Sales and Bus Development


REPORTING TO Managing Partner

OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE Generate revenue and manage the relationship with the dealer by selling the project to the dealers


Planning :

- Developing the national sales plan in consultation with the COO/Project Head on the number of dealer sign ups and activations.

- Projections to the management with regional split and monthly/quarterly reviews

- Achievement of the Business numbers/Operations

- Enrollment and acquisition of the dealer for the project.

- Meeting the targets and business numbers as per the plan

- Assistance to closing deals with key accounts that have multiple dealers

- Resolving issues that emerge between the HP gas corporate team and Regional Sales team

- Finalization on the BOM andcosting/pricing associated with it

- Overseeing the Collections and payment from the dealers as per the work progress and resolving any issues including management of bad debts

Coordination, Activation and Support :

- Coordinating with the National Sales Team on the roll out plan to modernize the gas dealers store.

- Coordinating with Marketing Head/team to ensure communication is received

- Coordinating with the Deployment manager and project team to ensure that the work is completed as per the timelines

- To maintain regular MIS and updates with the management including management of deviations

Team Management :

- Supporting the Sales team on negotiations and closing the contract

- Training and Orientation of the Regional Managers in detailing to dealers and their closure

- Management of the team, route planning and assistance in closure.

KPI- s :

- Revenue achieved vs target

- Conversion ratio of dealers

- Number of dis-satisfied customers


- Achievement orientation and ability to work with targets

- Ability to sell propositions and concepts

- Proficient in dealing with dealers and hence relationship management is important

- Understanding of the region/geography and channel/dealer networks for similar trades

- Fluency in the local language

- Must have developed a dealer network in the past experience

- Persuasive and good detailing experience/skills especially in service selling/concept selling
