THE ROLE :

- You'll be the first point of contact and voice of MPOWER for our applicants and partners from all over the world. Your focus will be to connect with students and partners and explore opportunities for better collaboration. Success will require:

- Proactively reaching out to students and prospective borrowers (phone, email, chat, social media, etc.) to educate applicants on the benefits of an MPOWER loan

- Understanding MPOWERs product line and all features including loan terminology and calculations to ensure borrowers and partners make informed decisions

- Collaborating on strategy and corporate development projects, including managing partnership relationships

- Lead partnership development activities including performance, planning, and follow up

THE QUALIFICATIONS :

- Bachelors degree, or higher

- At least 2-3 years of business development/marketing in a high-touch, fast-paced environment

- Understanding of banking, lending, financial services or personal finance with the ability to learn and adapt quickly

- Outstanding written and verbal skills communication and comfort interacting with customers via phone, email, and chat

- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with an ability to move between strategic thinking and details

- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment

- Foreign language is a plus

Must have :

- Should have studied in the US or Canada or involved in an organization promoting studying in US

- Previous B2B or B2C experience - B2C preferred

- Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred :

- Experience with lead generation campaigns

- Worked actively on social media / online marketing
