Profile summary :

Product Marketing Specialist (Technical) is an experienced and motivated product marketing professional with passion and experience with a technology platform seeking to join an innovative software product/platform company. The Product Marketing Specialist (Technical) role is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market plans for Mobileware products and services. These unique skill set are to bridge technical knowledge to carry into our overall sales enablement conversations.

About the role :

We are looking for an energetic, motivated self-starter that has a passion for technology and can translate the capabilities of a technology solution into marketing messaging and positioning. The Product Marketing Specialist (Technical) is responsible for the delivery of consistent messaging that highlights our differentiated value proposition in all marketing collateral, conducts knowledge transfer and training of the customer facing workforce in both direct and indirect channels, and contributes core messaging for the fulfilment of marketing tactics. This position requires a combination of strong technical, marketing, and project/program management skills, with knowledge about the competitive landscape, and deep understanding of buyer personas.

The role responsibilities include :

- Develop a deep understanding of Mobileware products and services, target audience, the competitive landscape, and become the go-to expert for assigned product areas.

- Strategize product and solution positioning, and develop messaging by prospective buyer role(s), and ways to overcome competitive objections; and facilitate marketing campaigns that drive awareness and adoption on an ongoing basis.

- Collaborate with product development teams to define and articulate technical product/solution benefits, use cases, positioning and extend expertise to sales and marketing teams; and facilitate roll out of marketing campaigns for new feature releases and own communication of all feature updates and other user-facing communication

- Enable our customer-facing teams by creating helpful content such as, customer success case studies, pitch decks, depository of feature FAQs, user interface briefs and demos

- Own product-related user-facing communication across all touchpoints including website, emailers, social media, listing platforms, paid ads, etc.

- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Team to roll out ad campaigns with effective copy for better conversion

- Collaborate with the Media and Communications team to share product-related insights and come up with ideas that can translate into media stories.

- Develops sales tools including sales scripts, presentations, and demonstration scripts and can effectively communicate solution benefits with internal sales teams and channel partners

- Supports marketing programs, campaigns and additional assets with content and messaging to drive demand; and assist for documented RFP responses and bidding processes

- Research competitive solutions and maintain competitive comparisons and evaluations

- Cultivate and nurture relationships with customers in strategic vertical markets to support ongoing definition of differentiated product value

- Social and Emotional IQ - ability to effectively listen, communicate, and manage expectations at all levels (down, peer, up) and political savviness (corporate agility)

- Ability to take an abstract idea, design it out, build the plan and deliver the details

- Develop and execute go-to-market plans and ensure internal organizational readiness

What we expect :

- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, or Science or related field; with discernible technical acumen and content development ability

- Typically, 2-4+ years- experience in a product marketing, and/or software requirements gathering role or go-to-market; in technology, infrastructure, or platform companies

- Demonstrable technical savviness, with high aptitude to work with technology professionals

- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to interact autonomously with internal and external stakeholder, demonstrate a high level of maturity in dealing with dynamic changes

- Experience in executive assistance, business development and/or projects/operations

- Strong interpersonal skills and a knack for productive collaboration across varying departments

- Detail-oriented and data-driven and well organized; and possess an encouraging, can-do attitude

- Impeccable time management and multi-tasking skills

- Experience working with commercial B2B SaaS applications/platforms

- Experience working on product marketing strategizing and executing launches in B2B marketing and working closely with sales teams is preferred

- Experience in launching new high-tech products and communicating benefits

- Demonstrated history of facilitating complex projects and executing on marketing plans

- Experience in conducting market analysis, developing market messaging, and communicating benefits

- Proven problem solver, with ability to analyse market requirements and bridge communication between technology/engineering and marketing/sales teams

- Self-motivated, self-sufficient, effective, versatile and action-oriented

- Proven creative thinker with ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments
