Social Media Marketing Manager


- We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious candidate who understands the pulse of the consumer demographic we target. Someone who can build core communication strategy of the brand and will play a key role in ensuring that all stakeholders stay true to the core positioning of the brand. The ideal candidate is a hard-working team player who will play a critical role in creating original digital content across various social media platforms.

- Preferably +4 years of working either for a digital-first brand (F&B/Luxury/FMCG) or an agency that has the mandate to manage content and social media accounts for such brands.

What you will do :

1. Social calendar management : work closely with the marketing manager to ideate on and help create the social media calendar for the brand. You will also be the SPOC with the creative team to populate this calendar and ensure all brand guidelines are followed.

2. Social media management : ensure that the calendar made for the month is followed without gaps, create posting and boosting schedules and follow them. Using relevant social channels to drive traffic to the website and to third party networks will be a key objective.

3. Data analytics : report and analyze the performance of all the content being published by the brand. Spot trends in numbers, draw pointed conclusions, and create an informed communication strategy across channels. Liaise with the sales team to maintain reports for the D2C website and other online platforms and work closely with performance marketing agencies to monitor the ROI.

4. Community building : help build a digital community for the brand and find new and exciting ways to get people to join and stay loyal to the community. This can be omnichannel (Facebook, Email, WhatsApp etc.)

5. Online reputation management (ORM) : monitor closely and improve how the brand is viewed by the online community. Set processes in place to ensure that the brand engages with its customers, regularly, frequently, and using consistent means of communication.

6. Projects : work on brand campaigns and help set up remarketing channels, create and manage influencer outreach programs. Be responsible for setting up a community of brand-appropriate influencers and manage their collaborations. Liaise with the PR agency to coordinate with pre-planned influencer activities.

What is the right educational qualification for the role :

- A BBA/MBA from a reputed B-school or Bachelor's degree in the marketing, communications, journalism, or literature.

- Candidates who have had international exposure in their academic careers is a plus.

- Very good spoken and written English is needed

- Proficiency in many social media platforms
