Midas Fintech Solutions - Senior Business Development Manager (5-7 yrs)
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our rapidly growing new age Education Platform. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in selling services and products within the education segment, along with a pre-existing network and established relationships within the education industry. The Senior Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Market Analysis and Strategy :
- Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, trends, and the competitive landscape within the education sector
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Client Acquisition :
- Leverage existing relationships within the education industry to facilitate client acquisition and expedite the sales process
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in educational institutions, government bodies, and other relevant stakeholders
- Product and Service Knowledge :
- Possess in-depth knowledge of our products and services to effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients
- Collaborate with the product development team to provide insights for product enhancements based on market demands
- Partnership Development :
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with educational institutions, technology providers, and other entities to enhance our offerings and market reach.
- Negotiate and establish mutually beneficial collaborations with partners.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting :
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and regularly report on progress towards sales targets.
- Provide timely and comprehensive reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement
- Team Collaboration :
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer support, and product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Mentor and coach junior members of the business development team.
Qualifications :
- Bacherlors / Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development within the education sector.
- Demonstrated success in selling services/products to educational institutions.
- Strong network and pre-existing relationships within the education industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Preferred Skills :
- Familiarity with current trends and challenges in the education technology space.
- Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
