Medical Representative - Sales - Pharma (1-5 yrs)

Job Description:

As a Medical Representative, your primary role will be to promote and sell pharmaceutical products and medical devices to healthcare professionals, such as physicians, pharmacists, and hospitals. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, providing product information, and driving sales growth in your assigned territory. Additionally, you will stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and scientific developments to effectively communicate the value of the products you represent.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement a territory sales plan to achieve sales targets and objectives.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, and hospitals.

- Promote and sell pharmaceutical products and medical devices to healthcare professionals by delivering product presentations and demonstrations.

- Provide accurate and up-to-date product information to healthcare professionals, including features, benefits, indications, contraindications, and side effects.

- Conduct regular visits to healthcare professionals to identify their needs, address concerns, and provide ongoing support.

- Organize and participate in medical conferences, seminars, and other events to promote products and establish professional networks.

- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and medical affairs, to develop and implement promotional strategies and materials.

- Maintain records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.

- Provide feedback to the company on customer needs, market trends, and product performance.

- Stay updated on scientific developments, clinical studies, and regulatory guidelines related to the products and therapeutic areas you represent.

- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry codes of conduct.

- Continuously develop product knowledge, selling skills, and industry expertise through self-study, - training programs, and professional development opportunities.

- Collaborate with colleagues and share best practices to contribute to the overall success of the sales team.

- Adhere to ethical standards and maintain a professional and positive image of the company.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Business (or equivalent experience).

- Previous experience as a Medical Representative or in a sales role within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medical devices, therapeutic areas, and healthcare market dynamics.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with healthcare professionals and build relationships.

- Proven sales and negotiation skills to achieve targets and drive business growth.

- Self-motivated and result-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.

- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

- Ability to understand and communicate scientific and technical information to healthcare professionals.

- Proficiency in using CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry codes of conduct, such as the Pharma Code or Medical Device Regulations, is desirable.

- Ethical conduct and commitment to compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
