Matrimony.com - Manager - Retail Sales (10-15 yrs)
Role Overview :
Custodian of P&L, Customer Delight and Brand Ambassador for the company in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana (APTS).
Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for P & L for the AP&TS region
- Responsible for setting up new retail branches in the region including identifying the right location, brand positioning and launch Sales & Service operations.
- Forecasting monthly/annual targets and executing them in a given time frame.
- Loss prevention through implementing effective audit procedures and safety/security measures.
- Heading the entire gamut of activities of the region pertaining to formulation of local marketing and retail strategies for brand building, initiating activation activities, store administration, staff management.
- Expanding business by launching innovative promotional activities, campaigns, and increased customer experience management.
- Mentor, motivate and guide team members ensuring sales- business generation and achieving budgeted figures, and activity ratio on monthly basis.
- Competent in Customer Retention (Loyalty) program conceptualization & execution
- Planning and executing brand launches, brand awareness and brand preference programs and conduct regular market research.
- Expert in rural and/or outdoor marketing - Brand building, demand generation activities through 'Push-Pull' strategy and effective rural medias.
- Report & update on the daily operations & MIS preparation of retails functionality to the sales function team in HO and ensuring implementation of SOPs for store functioning.
- Mentoring, Training & Supervising the sales performance of team members to ensure individual & group targets are met and operational efficiency in process too are met.
- Overall accountability for ensuring that the accuracy and timeliness of MIS as per the organization policy or guidelines.
- Creating & sustaining a dynamic environment that fosters high performance amongst team.

Education & Experience :
Ideal candidate should have/should be :
- Bachelor's Degree in business or engineering and/or MBA with minimum of 10 years of sales/service experience.
- Managed a team for at least 3-4 years
- Spent at least 18 months in the Company
- Performance rating of not less than C or 'Meets expectations' in the last performance appraisal cycle.
- Able to speak fluently in Kannada and South languages will be added advantage.
