Job Description :

We are looking for an excellent, self driven and motivated Sales Manager to join our team at Material Depot. Someone with experience of having managed sales or worked as a sales person in their previous work experience. You will be the person who initiates client reach outs and handles inbound enquiries. If you're someone who has an itch for sales management, can come up with brilliant outreach ideas, and independently implement them, you're the right match.

Material Depot is on a mission to be India's largest tech company in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction space by democratizing the ecosystem and bringing stakeholders onto a common digital platform. And for that, we are creating tools that will solve the most intricate challenges that professionals in the industry face. Material Depot recently raised a pre-seed round from some top Indian funds and investors.

In this role, you will :

1. Conduct outreach operations and conduct demos of the platform


2. Assist users with any requirements they may have with the platform - From how-to-use guides in, finding materials, helping process orders and/or payments, and any other requirements they may have while also creating and maintaining a daily report of these activities.


3. Making active recommendations to optimize the platform as per user feedback or any changes as may be required to enhance the customer experience.


4. Help users leverage Material Depot platform for all their requirements including queries regarding our offering, about their products, maintenance and upkeep of the data and any other requirements


5. Provide accurate and thorough information to customers by using the right practices & tools and also by following the right communication procedures, guidelines, and protocols.


6. Ensure all tickets and complaints raised by customers on all sources are attended to on time, provided with appropriate solutions/alternatives, and follow-ups are made to confirm resolution.


7. Establish and maintain records of all customer interactions; process the customer accounts and file documents from time to time.


8. Build value-based relationships with customers through open and interactive communication

You don- t do things just because they were always done that way, you bring your experience and expertise with you and help the team make the best decisions.

For this role, you must have :

Prior experience of working in Sales, Marketing and/or other Business centric teams Experience conducting outreach campaigns (e.g. linkedin reachouts, cold calling, in person meetings, walk ins. etc.) Hands-on experience of working with sales is preferred Possess excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work as a part of a tight-knit team
