We are looking for a talented and experienced E-commerce Business Development Manager to join our team at Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing market trends, developing business strategies, and managing our e-commerce platform to drive sales and revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Set and achieve sales and revenue targets, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Oversee the functioning of the e-commerce platform, ensuring it's user-friendly, and optimize its performance.
- Manage the product catalog, including selecting new products, pricing strategies, and inventory management.
- Develop strategies for acquiring new customers, including online advertising, email marketing, and SEO.
- Implement initiatives to retain existing customers, such as loyalty programs and personalized marketing.
- Manage and lead a team of e-commerce professionals, including sales, marketing, and customer service staff.
- Budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control to ensure profitability.
- Ensure a seamless and positive shopping experience for customers, addressing any issues promptly.
- Analyze e-commerce data to make informed decisions and improve business performance.
- Explore opportunities for expanding the e-commerce business into new markets or regions.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance and business development initiatives.
