Market Development Officer - Projects - Building Material (5-10 yrs)
Job Description:
- The position is responsible for identifying the prospective consultants who can specify/ influence/ approve our products in projects segment to achieving revenue and profitability targets of the Pipes & Fittings business in the assigned territory
- Should be from Building material Industry
- Experience in Institutional sales/ Government projects is Must
- Experience with MEP Consultants
- Min of 4-5 years of experience with MEP Consultants is must
- (B2B) experience in Building material Selling, preferably in PVC Pipes, Sanitary, CP & Bath fittings and Electrical Accessories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring achievement of defined and agreed Sales targets on a monthly basis in line with the annual plans
- Responsible for managing defined Key Accounts
- Responsible for new acquisitions in the defined territory
- Ensuring frequent meetings with the influencers &tracking of their ongoing & future projects
- Visiting all category Architects/Consultants and key influencers of the territory& ensuring specification of Pipes & Fittings Products in the projects
- Meeting with leading Turnkey Contractors of the city, preparing their project data base &securing business. Periodic visit of top influencers, civil engineers, architects, builders, contractors, etc
- Building project pipeline to sustain growth in the market
- Ensure outstanding (DSO) within specific limit
- Co-ordination with technical cell for required support and ensuring smooth execution of projects with a scheduled project visit
