Margo Networks - Head - Marketing - SugarBox (10-15 yrs)

It's a key role in the company's leadership team, reporting to the Co-founder & CEO. It primarily encompasses building the SugarBox from ground up and driving brand awareness & affinity amongst consumers, key digital industries, and key network verticals. In addition to the Brand, the other key buckets of ownership are the PR & Corp Comm functions, the User Acquisition & retention goals, and Marketing Alliances with Network & App partners.

General Marketing:

- Work closely with the CXOs to understand the user segments, product rollout strategy, network rollout strategy & App onboarding strategy and lay out the B2B and B2C outreach strategy for the company across marketing channels

- Formulate strategies to find innovative, creative, and effective ways to reach to the relevant audiences with contextual & relatable communication

- Set Monthly, Quarterly & Annual Marketing Goals & Objectives, along with broad level strategy & KPIs across all marketing functions

- Work with internal teams to find insights on B2B and B2C cohorts and optimize marketing channels on an ongoing basis

Brand:

- Build the SugarBox brand from the ground up in the minds and hearts of consumers starting with India and then expanding it globally with a short to medium term focus on SAARC, SEA, NA & LA

- Build the SugarBox brand across B2B and channel partners on the App and Network side

- Drive awareness for the value and disruption that SugarBox creates, bringing the world closer to reliable & affordable digital access to everyone, everywhere

- Monitor market trends, carry out consumer research, keep a tab on direct & indirect competitor activities in collaboration with the internal teams

- Build SugarBox into one of the most recognized and loved brands in India

User Acquisition & Retention:

- Plan, implement, manage & iterate media strategies and media plans with laser sharp focus on user adoption & engagement across Network partners and App partners

- Leverage digital channels including Search, Display, Social, SEO & ASO and Video to create CTA focused user outreach

- Continuously work on optimizing the CACs, user churn and user LTV for SugarBox and across each digital industry and App partner

- Create consumer behavioural insights in collaboration with internal teams, network partners, App partners and agencies

PR & Corp Comm:

- Build an exhaustive PR strategy to drive awareness and establish SugarBox as on of the most disruptive companies, solving a global problem that even Big Tech has been struggling to achieve sustainably

- Be clued into strategic industry events and dialogues and facilitate key speaker opportunities, key stakeholder opinions and earned features for the company

- Establish and optimize positioning across key Corp Comm channels including B2B, B2C and B2B2C

- Act as a single point of contact for all announcements, in-bound PR requests and external key stakeholder conversations

Marketing Alliances:

- Work with the Network Partnerships team to create frameworks to leverage the existing consumer reach via Networks for the company

- Work with the App Partnerships team to create frameworks and strategies to leverage the existing user base of the App partners for the company

- Negotiate with Network and App partners to drive joint consumer outreach + go-to-market strategies

- Work closely with internal teams to create Network and App partner specific user adoption + retention goals

Core Business Planning:

- Actively participate & contribute to the core business planning of the company, including avenues to excel, optimize & drive efficiency

- Take initiative to explore new business opportunities & collaborate across teams to add cross-functional value

Leadership & Team Building:

- Attract, onboard, nurture, motivate & drive productivity from great talent in the Business domain, internally & externally

- Build investment & alignment towards company objectives and drive company culture across the Business domains

- Actively work on capability building, growth curve management, key resource retention & NPS across Business teams

- Create a healthy & collaborative team structure, with adequate succession planning
