Manager - Social Media & Content Writing (5-15 yrs)
We are seeking an experienced creative copywriter to join our team & drive content development for our key accounts. The ideal copywriter is a creative thinker with excellent writing & research skills.
- As a member of the creative team, our copywriter will write and edit copy for a variety of properties including Ads, Websites, Social media & newsletters) working closely with the accounts and develop messaging. Thorough research and interview will be required to understand each client's industry, products/services, branding and marketing goals. The most successful copywriter will be a quick learner with a versatile writing style.
Key Responsibilities :
- Creative Brainstorming & Content Development
- Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution on assigned brands.
- Research and understanding the client's needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject matter experts and in person meetings.
- Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials.
- Collaborate with a team of account managers and creative staff from concept development to delivery of the final product.
- Present copy concepts and final deliverables to the internal team and to client representatives as needed and participate in client pitches on ocassion.
- Revise copy based on internal and client feedback/direction
- Coordinate with the graphic designing team to get the best of the creatives you develop together.
Team Management & Training :
- Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfill them.
- Recruit graphic designers and copywriters, set objectives, train and coax and monitor performance ensuring assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled.
Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in journalism, English, communication, or related discipline.
- 3-5 years of professional copy writing experience with a solid portfolio of work.
- Exceptional writing and research skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills and time management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office / Google Sheets.
