Hiring Manager for Sales Manager - Sponsorship and Exhibition Sales & Promotion

SUMMARY:

- The Sponsorship Sales & Exhibition Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenues through the sale of sponsorship & exhibition space packages for the event by targeting various companies, organizations and associations.

- The Manager will create sponsorship and exhibitor packages according to client specification.

- The Manager will also be responsible for Delegate Marketing.

- The Manager with report to the Event Promotion and PR Head and attend daily and weekly meetings and conference planning meetings as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- To actively and effectively promote, sell and manage the event sponsorship and exhibition space as per the agreed sponsorship and exhibition prospectus in line with identified targets and exceed the target for the Meeting.

- To manage the sponsorship email account and to proactively follow up any enquiries from potential exhibitors/sponsors in a timely manner

- Research and develop a list of potential sponsors

- Research and develop a list of potential exhibitors

- Develop and maintain relationships with existing list of clients and potential sponsorship clients and exhibitors;

- Keep precise records of conversations with organizing committee, sponsors and exhibitors;

- Submit daily report to your reporting Head.

- Creatively use sponsorship assets to build and demonstrate innovative marketing programs which will add genuine value to potential clients

- Create activation proposals for sponsors & space selling that align with their strategy

- Central point of contact internally and externally for all partner related activity

- Ensure the digital, communications and other internal teams are fully aware of all campaign activities of sponsors

- Liaising with inhouse and external suppliers to provide all information for the event

- Managing sponsorship & space selling agreements from inception to completion

- Invoice sponsors and exhibitors once agreements have been reached;

- Liaising with Designer & Marketing Head in creation of commercial print, advertising and promotional material to advertise sales opportunities;

- Maintain conference timelines and promotional deadlines for sponsorship & space selling;

- Delegate administrative functions to assistants where possible;

- Submission and review of weekly sales report

- Meet with co-organizations and other group/partners promoting the event
