Job description :

- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and market share objectives.

- Identify and target potential customers in the packaging industry, including manufacturers, distributors, and retailers.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

- Actively seek out new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and attending industry events.

- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective sales campaigns and promotional activities.

- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to key decision-makers.

- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements, ensuring favorable outcomes for both the company and the customer.

- Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and other sales-related data to senior management.

- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, new products, and regulatory requirements.

- Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and driving individual and team success.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

- Stay informed about competitors' activities and market trends to maintain a competitive edge.

- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events.

Qualifications :

- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the packaging industry or a related field.

- Extensive knowledge of packaging products, materials, and manufacturing processes.

- Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.

- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite.
