Manager - Sales & Marketing - Beverages - Contractual Role (5-10 yrs)

Urgently looking to hire a Marketing Professional for a FMCG MNC in Bangalore.

Note : This is a contractual position as current manager is going on sabbatical, initially this will start with 1 year contact, further it would be extendable or can be permanent also depend on performance and company requirement.

Regional strategy planning and implementation

- Strategize to prepare a Customer Marketing Annual Calendar and execute customer marketing initiatives and activations in-line with brand plans, to deliver NSV and market share ambitions for the brands handled

- Lead the quarterly/annual planning in coordination with Marketing / HO Customer Marketing/ Sales team

- Develop and drive distribution/visibility / activation plans channel-wise across clusters

- Manage customer marketing budget for the portfolio

Channel management

- Implement the Channel Leadership Programs with defined levers / metrics in coordination with the clusters

- Develop visibility strategy for the respective channel and oversee execution through state customer marketing manager

- Lead the annual & quarterly Channel-Brand activation planning process within the clusters and evaluate activations in the channel - Collaborate with HO Commercial Team to support Brand Building activities

- Understand regional nuances in channels which are used in designing local programs

Budget Adherence

- Plan, allocate and monitor quarterly/ annual brand-wise Budgets for the assigned area

- Follow financial protocols and procurement processes for budget utilization

- Ensure marketing spend stays within the approved budgets at the regional level.

Brand : 

- Drive seamless route to consumer effectiveness by building brand imagery, creating demand through consumer winning activations, perfect outlet program and leveraging company portfolio for effective sell-out.

- Monitor competition activities

Qualification :

- MBA in Sales and Marketing with 5+ years experience, Have Worked in the FMCG/ Alco Beverage industry

Knowledge & skills:

- Planning, budgeting, execution and review for portfolio handled

- Strong interpersonal skills and executional mind-set

- Communication & negotiation skills

- Channel Partnership related experience

- Decisive & effective problem-solving ability

- Very strong analytical skills both qualitative & quantitative

- Detail orientation, strong organizational skills

- Strong ROI orientation
