Manager - Sales - IT Consulting Firm (10-13 yrs)

An IT consulting company which focuses on understanding and addressing pain areas through their software services using the Microsoft technology stack looking for Sales Manager to shape and spearhead the growth engine of the company on short-term and long - term basis.

Achieving sales targets is the primary expectation from this role

Key Responsibilities:

1. Should be able to strategize and leverage short-term and long - term business / growth opportunities

2. Should be able to leverage his existing network for quick wins and scaling up the business

3. Should be able to spot existing opportunities in the market and realize the same

4. Should be able anchor strategic partnerships to strengthen the company's portfolio and market presence

5. Should be able to identify and develop new markets for the company's products / offerings

6. Should closely review and guide the sales team to strategize and close out business opportunities

7. Coach and enhance the effectiveness of the sales team

8. Should be able to collaborate and leverage delivery team for pre-sales support and building long - term client relationships

9. Should be able to deepen and expand the relationship with the existing clients to source additional business

Required Profile:

1. 10-12 years of sales experience in IT industry

2. Established credentials / demonstrated performance. Should have managed 1+ crores of sales

3. Major experience should be in services / solution selling

4. Should have worked in start - up environment

5. Exposure to Microsoft technologies

6. Some years of experience / involvement in delivery as well

7. A self - starter who can craft and drive the sales strategy of the company

8. Ability to lead and develop a team

9. Effective collaborator across functions

10. Graduate / post-graduate
