Manager - Sales - FMCG (2-3 yrs)
We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager who will manage a team of Sales Representative working in different channels and animate the Street Vendors- Road to Market through selling to the different vendors. You will be responsible for maximizing sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to the upper management.
- Manage a team of 5 Sales Executive, working in various areas to approach and introduce the product and our plan for Street Vendors- community, convince them to join the community and to start selling company's Products.
- Follow up, push, set and announce KPIs for team to reach recruitment and volume targets
- Manage reporting systems for sales, recruitment and data to prepare weekly reviews with the company and follow Street Vendors objectives
- Manage operational activities conducted by the sales executive: field data, sales, stock in-out, new vendors- information, filling systems, branding, image and communications with Market Management and landlord when needed.
- Weekly visits to check good performance of the team. Discover any mistakes in the operation and fix promptly if necessary.
- Propose new business approaches, listen to Street Vendors and feedback in order to improve the service
- Work closely with Distributor's Sales Department to place orders at the right time and manage product availability.
- Follow up and get information such as promotions/price discount/new price to communicate promptly and accurately to team and Street Vendors
- Train and coach new staffs when hired.
- Join any other activities of the team even cross functional works when necessary or when requested
- Sales skill and at least 2-3 years working experience preferably in FMCG industry.
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing) and Hindi.
- People Management skills
- Ability to set up relationship with distribution partners and Street vendors
- Microsoft Excel Skills
- License and capabilities to drive a bike.
