Manager - Sales - Chemical (6-8 yrs)
- Should have strong technical knowledge about chemicals.
- Have very good understanding of Chemical SDS sheet.
- Know when and how to use inert gas while drum filling and while tank to tank transfers.
- Should have knowledge regarding cleaning chemicals
- Should have knowledge on EHS (Environmental, Safety and Health) polices.
- Should have knowledge of chemical labelling.
- The person needs to understand business of cargo transfer.
- He has to understand liquid commodities that are being imported by traders for reselling in the market
- Need to target hinterland business
- Need to identify small manufacturers who do not have drumming facility
- Identify from the second hand IBC market who buys 2nd hand IBCs and sells used IBCs
- Communicate effectively with technical staff and senior management on the status of priority accounts and ongoing projects.
- Maintain a deep understanding of customers operations and determine technical needs.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivering of our solutions to the customer.
- Document and track the progress of all accounts, opportunities and discuss with reporting officer
- Forecast and track key business metrics to develop individual business plan.
- Assist and collaborate with other sales team members on opportunities related to your specific technical experience and knowledge
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
- Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
- Maintain a cordial relation between all units
- No compromise on quality of work.
- Have regular training schedules for his team under Plant head guidance.
