Manager - Sales/Business Development - Surveillance Solution (6-12 yrs)

- The Sales and Business Development (Defense/ Govt ) position involves creating, identifying, qualifying, pursuing, and winning profitable business opportunities. The candidate will lead a team and work closely with the Associate Director/VP/CEO. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles/Systems and various payloads and idea of Surveillance Vehicles.

Key Responsibilities :

- Identifying profitable business opportunities in the Defense/Government sector

- Dealing with internal stakeholders


- Managing relationships with key clients in the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard


- Seeding product requirements at HQ and Command & Corps HQs

- Managing the sales cycle of large capital procurement projects.

- Other responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with clients, preparing business plans and sales pipelines, delivering technical presentations, participating in exhibitions and events, and managing channel sales partners.

- The ideal candidate should have 6+ years of Sales and BD experience in the Defense and Government sector, prior experience in handling capital and revenue procurement projects, a strong understanding of Defense and Government business, and knowledge of procurement on GeM.


- The candidate should possess excellent communication and networking skills, be open-minded and persuasive, and have a strong business acumen.


- The candidate should hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Technology and a Business Course from a Tier1 Business School. The willingness to travel as per project and business requirements is necessary. Commissioned Officers from Army/Navy/Air Force with prior Sales and BD experience are preferred. This position is field based and requires extensive travelling

Skills Require : Sales/Business Development/Key Accounts Management/Negotiation Skills for Contracts/Know how about Proposal sharing and Defense and Government Procurement process.
