Manager - Sales - Bancassurance Channel - Insurance (3-5 yrs)
Job Summary :
- We are looking for a driven and experienced Bancassurance Manager to oversee the development and growth of our Bancassurance channel. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key partners and stakeholders, as well as driving revenue growth through the channel. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the Bancassurance space, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.
Roles & Responsibility :
- Bancassurance is a partnership between banks and insurance companies to sell insurance products through bank branches.
- Bancassurance professionals collaborate with banks and financial institutions to build and maintain relationships, and drive revenue growth through the channel.
- They work to develop and implement comprehensive strategies to promote insurance products through the bank.
- Bancassurance professionals may work for either an insurance company or a bank.
- Their roles can vary depending on the organization and the specific position.
- Common responsibilities include developing and implementing Bancassurance strategies, building and maintaining relationships with bank partners, conducting market research, identifying target customers, and creating marketing plans to promote insurance products through the bank.
- They may also provide ongoing training and support to channel partners to ensure their success, monitor and analyze channel performance metrics, and adjust strategy as needed to achieve targets.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills are important for success in Bancassurance.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance products and services, as well as experience working with banks and financial institutions, is typically required for this role.
- Any Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of experience in Insurance sales or a related field
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong partnerships
- Strong knowledge of the insurance industry and the bancassurance channel
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Ability to travel as required
