Position Title : Sales Manager-NT Indore, MP

Department :Sales

Responsible for maximum territory coverage and achieving Sales Targets of all the principal company associated- ATLAS COPCO, EPIROC, Husqvarna, to increase the market share while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This position manages sales activities efficiently within the given territory.

Achievement of targets set by company management.

This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer/Company Management/HOD

Product: Compressor, Drilling machines, rock breaker, light towers, Industrial Product?


- Manages sales activities as listed below along with achieving financial targets for the Sales department.

- Developing an efficient sales team

- Territory Management Plans

- Prospecting

- Customer relations

- Gauging Competitor movements

- By utilizing the available manpower resources and developing them for successful completion of Goals. Also if required, hiring new people in conjunction with HR dept.

- Assigns tasks to team, training them in appropriate methods of prospecting and selling. Provides coaching necessary to develop customer relations development skills.

- Monitoring & supervising the team tasks & helping them on individual level to chase & close calls.

- Ensuring prospect data, Sale loss and competitor data is submitted & analysed with team.

- Territory Coverage with special focus on untapped areas.

- Developing markets and establishing activities so as to achieve targets

- Plans and executes all the marketing activities for the territory. Delivering events/ programmes, to ensure that market presence.

- Ensuring maximum territory coverage by team and also their participation rate in deals should be 100%.

- Maintaining Customer relations to retain the existing ones and regaining the lost customers.

- Gauging Competitor movements, collecting field data for their Machines; to capture the market and increase market share.

- Develops and Executes Sales plans with special focus on Crusher & Aggregate segment.

- Ensures that processes and procedures concerning all Machine Sales like Documentation and DO(Delivery Order) with 100% payment along with C-form collection on time, is achieved by Sales department so as to improve the quality and efficiency of the Sales department.

- Participates & Ensures Delivery along with commissioning of New Machine to the Customer as per company/principal Guidelines.

- Maintains working relations with the Service & Parts management and personnel to ensure that the proper after-sales services are delivered to the customer.

- Taking Corrective actions on Customer Satisfaction/Purchase survey remarks ensuring customer queries or complaints are resolved on time.

- Ensures Customer meets, Road Shows, Campaigns, advertisement etc are done throughout the year.

- Business plans targets are achieved above 80% by units

- Customer - retention rate- will be 80 percent or greater on a year-to-year basis.

- All Sale accounts receivables will average less than 30-45 days.

Monthly Submissions (To Reporting Head/Management) :

- Market Trends & Project details pertaining to the sector.

- Competitor Movements & Machine data reports.

- Sales loss Reports with reasons.

- Sales target report in monthly meetings.
