Company Introduction

Sheru is monomaniacally focused on accelerating the electric revolution in India. We've started by targeting the largest installed base of Electric Vehicles - E-Rickshaws (92% of EVs in India), upgrading them with swappable Li-ion battery packs, helping drivers DOUBLE their daily income with the AWS Lambda for batteries. So far, we've enabled 2.5M kilometres with our technology and removed 300 Metric Tons of carbon emissions in the process. We're still on day one, and looking for the right folks to partner with to build, secure, and scale our platform, as well as the ecosystem of services that India currently lacks.

Job Description

Experience - 2-5 years

Responsibilities :

- Planning, analyzing, and executing the sales strategy in the market

- Prospecting, filtering, segmenting and qualifying the leads

- Reaching out, following up and booking appointments/calls

- Closing deals, signing up the contract and onboarding the client

- Knowledge Transfer - Share the product knowledge with the Content and Marketing Team

- Requirement Gathering - Requesting Product details like Demo videos, Tutorials,

- Product specification and Functionalities from clients about their product

- Contact person to clients regarding questions, queries and clarifications about the

- product by Webinars, Newsletters and Sales Reports

- Keep track of the Sales and update the clients about the closure of the deals

- Jump on a call with the client to receive feedback

- Analyze the effectiveness of the promotions and sales count to make a report

- You- re here (in the Sales role) to make a difference & add value to the company (thus, to yourself)

- We are looking for trainable/coachable team players

- We are looking for candidates who deliver the results & not PPTs

- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence

- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs

- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team

- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

Skills and Qualifications :

- 2-5 years of Sales Development experience in the tech space. SAAS is mandatory.

- Excellent communication skills

- Really good at closing deals

- Should know how to negotiate (right from taking up this job)

- Really good at building partnerships

- Proven sales track record

- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)

- Proficiency in English

- Market knowledge

- Communication and negotiation skills

- Ability to build rapport

- Time management and planning skills

- BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
