Retail Activation Manager


- As the Retail Activation Manager, you will work closely with Account managers, Retail managers, suppliers and internal contacts.


- You will be responsible for delivering 100 % compliance on execution projects through quality execution on time. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service through excellent customer service and product delivery.


- You will develop and maintain a strong relationship with key client stakeholders at all levels and you will propose and
deliver all company solutions.

- With regard to matters relating to execution projects, the Retail Activation Manager is required to remain in contact with suppliers and account teams and is responsible for taking ownership of the account and developing it further.


- The Retail Activation Manager is required to negotiate costings and timescales for each job and selecting the most appropriate supplier.

Key Responsibilities :


- Provide technical input and advice on execution projects as required

- Take execution briefs from Account managers/Retail manager & manage from start to finish

- The Retail Activation Manager is required to negotiate costings and timescales for each job and select the most appropriate supplier in consultation with account/retail team

- Monitor suppliers to ensure they deliver as per quality & timelines

- Ensure project is recorded using the designated company formats / tools

- Work as a team to help deliver contractual requirements, prepare presentations and complete necessary account admin and reporting

- Ensure invoicing procedures are followed.

- Responsible for daily / weekly /monthly MIS ( Project Trackers / departmental targets )

- Take briefs from the client including full specification details and deadline dates and manage from start to finish

- Suggest alternative options and innovation where possible

- Maintain a full understanding of the broad range of Organisation services and work closely with the internal departments to provide the client with services that complement their print

- Implement new methods and procedures as required

- Work as a team to help deliver contractual requirements, prepare presentations and complete necessary account admin and reporting

- Ensure invoicing procedures are followed

- Able to attend meetings away from the client site as required

- Work with Group Client Services Manager to identify new business opportunities

- Ensure profit is maximized through analysis of performance

- Deliver services to meet and exceed contracted SLAs

- Manage and monitor objectives to meet key business drivers

- Ensure compliance with Regulatory and Company policies

- Measure customer satisfaction and take appropriate action

- Closely working with the Account Team & the supply chain partner on the Conceptualization, Design & Fabrication of POSM elements

- Supporting the operation, following up the critical path and ensure our success of Execution with highest quality and speed

- Periodic Assessment of POB in line with the Path to Purchase Mode.

- Ensuring resources are properly disposed, while ensuring efficiencies in the process

- Early triggering alarms to get required resources around any potential issue

Knowledge & Skills:


- Numerate with a strong commercial understanding

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Strong time management and prioritization skills

- Ability to manage vendors and work together with them to deliver

- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, with a good sense of humor

- Has knowledge of technical aspects related to Soft /hard POSM's with detailed understanding of different installation /maintenance techniques

- Able to anticipate the problem areas related to POSM executions in modern trade & general trade and plan for them

- Is professional, courteous and calm under pressure

- Has a project management mind-set

- Process driven, with an eye to sales and business development

- Approachable and confident to offer advice in meetings

- Able to manage and communicate with key client stakeholders to successfully deliver and exceed their expectations

- Knowledge of Microsoft office and Google Apps is must.

Experience :


- Experience in troubleshooting unexpected project issues and implementing preventative measures is preferred.

- Experience in liaising directly with clients and advising on POSM campaign solutions is preferred

- Familiar with POSM language

- Account management experience, working within a contracted environment to strict SLAs (service level agreements) and KPIs (key performance indicators)

- Previous experience working in print/ print management/ print buying/ marketing print procurement will be an advantage.
