Job Description:

The Product Marketing Manager (PSM) is full time, field leadership role. The PSM has a deep understanding of the market, competitors, sales process, clients and our solutions in order to develop and implement a strategic go-to-market plan. In many ways, she/he is a mini-CEO for the product and reports to the VP of Products.

The key responsibilities of the Product Marketing Strategy Manager shall be to

- Develop effective marketing strategies and plans to communicate the features and benefits of new products to customers;

- Handle market research on current trending products, develop messaging and market positioning around products in various markets with an eye on innovation;

- Own business development activity for the product/s in the market; Creating market awareness by conference participation, working with key stakeholders like MOH, building executive relationship with key individuals and appropriate executive messaging recommendations;

- Establish and execute plans for campaigns and promotions, messages and lead generation in collaboration with field marketing;

- Work with the Product Owner who is typically located in the Company Development Centre, to drive his/her market priorities in the global roadmap

- Work with content creation team to develop appropriate content for product positioning

Key Skills :

The key skills typically required for a successful product marketing manager include:

Collaborative skills : As a product marketing manager you will have to collaborate with multiple teams across the business. This will often include the sales and marketing department, the engineering department, product management, press and PR and senior executives.

Communication skills : The ability to speak and write to a high standard is crucial. You will frequently have to present new products and write engaging copy, telling the - story- of products, for various marketing channels.

Research skills : A crucial part of being a product marketing manager is gaining insight into customer needs and experiences. Analysis of data, surveys and customer interviews will be part of this mix and you need to be well acquainted with these techniques.

Other critical skills:

- Self-motivated, analytical and with the ability to work independently, needing minimum direction

- Attention to detail

- Strong project and time management

Responsibilities include:

- Working with Internal Product Communication

- Communicate new features & Sun setting features and technology milestones that can impact customers example, ISO certification, Multi Tenancy or PostgreSql implementation;

- Communicate new wins across geographies;

- Communicate successful implementations and post on the website;

- Work with Customer Support teams and provide regular updates to Customers.

- Product Management - Driving activities that will result in complete ownership of VOC (Voice-of-Customer) inputs and PRC (Product Review Committee) from the market perspective

- Tracks pre-release functionality and performance to ensure that it meets market needs through validation of functional requirements, visual design, test plans and code delivery/ code development.

Supporting Roles -

- Drive high visibility strategies through engagement with key industry associations and attendance at key events and trade shows.

- PR and social media plan recommendations, executed with the support of the Company social media team;
