Job Title: Press Release Manager

Company Overview:

Vlippr is on the verge of transforming the digital content landscape with the imminent launch of its groundbreaking video uploading product. Dedicated to providing creators with a platform to share their stories and creativity, we are seeking a dynamic Press Release Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the narrative around our product launches, updates, and key milestones.

Position Overview:

As the Press Release Manager at Vlippr, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans, crafting compelling press releases, and building relationships with key media outlets. Your role will be instrumental in driving positive media coverage and enhancing the visibility of our video uploading platform.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Communication Strategy:

- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies for product launches, updates, and other key company milestones.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging across various channels.

2. Press Release Development:

- Write and edit clear, concise, and compelling press releases that effectively communicate key messages and engage target audiences.

- Ensure all press materials adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a positive brand image.

3. Media Relations:

- Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and media influencers.

- Pitch story ideas and coordinate interviews to secure media coverage for the platform.

4. Event Communication:

- Manage communication strategies for events, conferences, and product launches, coordinating with internal teams to maximize media exposure.

- Create press kits and other materials to support media interactions during events.

5. Crisis Communication:

- Develop crisis communication plans and act as a spokesperson when necessary.

- Handle media inquiries and proactively address potential issues to protect the company's reputation.

6. Analytics and Reporting:

- Utilize analytics tools to measure the impact of press releases and communication efforts.

- Provide regular reports with insights to inform future communication strategies.

7. Coordination with PR Agencies:

- Collaborate with external PR agencies, if applicable, to amplify press coverage and maximize reach.

- Ensure alignment between in-house communication efforts and agency strategies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.

- Proven experience in press release management or public relations, preferably in the digital media or tech industry.

- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong portfolio of press releases and communication materials.

- Strong media relations and networking capabilities.

- Crisis management experience and ability to handle high-pressure situations.

- Analytical mindset with proficiency in communication analytics tools.

- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
