Position : Dy Manager : Performance Chemical

Location: NEW DELHI

Position Purpose :

- Conduct Sales and marketing activities (incl Trade operation ie., High Seas Sales and Indent business) for Polymer products/additives and also


- New business development by closely working with the clients/suppliers and


- Ongoing market research for business intelligence.

Responsibility :

1. Close working with customers, suppliers and agents (Including overseas suppliers and customers).

2. Market research for new biz development. Preparation of Industry specific market reports and monitoring trends.

3. Handling/ Facilitation of business in the Indian Market ( Knowledge of domestic distribution business is added advantage)

4. Conducting Import Export trade operations, High Seas sales and also Domestic sales operations.

5. Handling and organizing business delegations.


6. Marketing and Business Development of Additives / Specialty chemicals (like Impact Modifiers, Processing Aid, Stabilizers, Lubricant etc.) for various polymers like PVC, CPVC, Engineering plastics, New biodegradable polymers etc.

7. The person will conduct Marketing and Sales of several products for Performance Chemicals and some new Business Development.

8. Frequently, would be required to communicate with Key Personnel and at fairly senior level people (Middle Management and above) of the clients for daily business facilitation. The function requires market research and report compilations for business decision making, undertaking product development campaigns including product trials along with suppliers.

9. Capability to Independently execute business operations in the designated market segments and also establish new businesses for the Co.

10. Understanding of different specialty chemical products for polymer industry.

11. Understanding the Complexities of International containerized trade, International payment risks and domestic sales distribution of imported products.

12. Customer Relationship Management for smooth business transactions.

Qualification/Education:


- Graduation in Chemicals / Polymers / Experience with Specialty Chemical manufacturing or Trading Co in sales, technical support and biz development/ Market research and Data Analysis/ MBA

- Areas of Experience: Sales/Commercial Role in Polymer/Technical support/ Biz development in Chemicals trade Problem Solving aptitude.
