Job Title : Marketing Manager/Sales Manager


Reports To : General Manager/Managing Director


Location : Chennai


Experience : 4yrs To 6yrs


Duties & Responsibilities :


Main responsibilities are as below but not limited to :

1. Promoting the brand through different advertising methods/social media/by participating in different events/trade shows and exhibitions.

2. Expanding the new business by adding more corporate clients and travel agents throughout Pondicherry, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.

3. Solicits new and existing accounts to meet or exceed revenue goals; including, but not limited to, telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections, written communication.

4. Closely watching the competition and market trend for planning the new strategies for business expansion.

5. Responsible for preparation of business contracts

6. Achieving monthly and yearly sales target and focusing on the stretched targets

7. Conducting daily sales calls and arranging the inspection of corporate clients

8. Providing best quality services to clients to retain the business.

9. Close coordination with front office and operation department for a smooth execution of the inquiry and stay experience of the client.

10. Follow the turn around time in responding to client queries.

11. Daily monitoring of reviews/feedback given by the client on different websites and responding to their experiences.

Eligibility Criteria :


1. Any graduate/postgraduate

2. Minimum 4-6 years of experience of marketing of hospitality industry.

3. A hands-on exposure of complete operations and process of hotel industry

4. Ability to work independently.

5. Excellent in verbal and written communication

6. Local language will be an added advantage.

7. Strong understanding of cross culture working.

8. Willing to travel to different cities.

9. Good presentation skills

10. Good knowledge of MS office

4. Strong in negotiation and bargaining skills

- Ability to understand the business positioning and implementing the right strategies for expanding the business.
