Job Title : Marketing Manager

- Reports To Vice President Operations (Non-Productions)

- Direct Reports to Position Graphic Designers, Marketing Executives, Digital Marketer

Internal Relationships

Summary of Position :

The position reports to the Vice President Operations (Non-Productions) and will work with a team under you to ensure the entire marketing spectrum is covered including and not limited to identifying clients, development and activation of various marketing strategies and materials to enhance market awareness and penetration that ultimately leads sales and client retention.

Major Functions/ Account Abilities :

1. Supervise the development, implementation and management of pharmaceutical products quality related marketing, branding, communications, sales support and events.

2. Responsible for creating and executing the marketing plan, content development, product marketing, writing, publishing, media relations primarily in digital and traditional formats.

3. Responsible for managing all direct reports specializing in digital, writing, design and events.

4. Product design packaging and promotional material, preparing labels - design and medical information.

5. Strategy, planning and working on multiple projects while delegating tasks to direct reports and external agencies. This position will serve as an advisor to the MD on progress, Senior Management, Government Relations and other staff.

6. Build and lead a team which will develop, publish and manage original pharmaceutical quality content that generates sales leads, positions Dinlas as a pharmaceutical leader and expands brand equity and awareness.

7. Identify new customer base in order to expand business

8. Oversee new product launches as directed by the VP Operations

9. Guide medical and sales representatives for promoting the products to get prescription by identifying right customer for what product

10. Provide planning and leadership to the Department by ensuring that the appropriate structures, systems, competencies and values are developed in order to meet and exceed the goals of the Marketing plan.

11. Develop ongoing liaison with key opinion leaders, patient support groups and other pharma and healthcare organisations to ensure that significant developments in the field are identified and monitored.

12. Organise and direct marketing and strategy meetings on a regular basis whereby the strategy and promotion programmes are reviewed.

13. Report on marketing activities to senior management.

14. Accomplish marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans.

15. Identify marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.

16. Improve product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalising on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development.

17. Sustain rapport with key accounts/clients by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.

18. Provide information by collecting, analysing, and summarising data and trends.

19. Protect the Dinlas values by keeping classified information confidential.

20. Assume overall responsibility for developing the annual marketing plan for the organisation; for strategic market planning; market research programmes; field force activities and control of the sales and marketing budget.

21. Create compelling stories and calls to action by integrating text, design, imagery, video, and other creative elements into digital and print to drive lead generation.

22. Execute projects on-time, within budget focused on writing (primarily short form) blog posts, issue briefs, sales collateral, PowerPoint presentations, social media posts, email copy, info-graphics, press releases, proofreading, copy editing, website text, reports, etc.


23. Deliver digital lead generation projects and across multiple platforms including email marketing automation, website, targeted display, remarketing and social media.

24. Supervise graphic specialist to develop campaigns segmented by channel, persona and customer segment.

25. Meet deadlines, adjust to shifting priorities, complete deliverables on-time, on-budget and within the project goal, marketing strategy and brand guideline.


26. Vendor management including monitoring and improving return on marketing investment.

27. Staff supervision, development and performance reviews

28. Other duties as assigned

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :

This is a performance based position and success will be measured as stipulated below:

- Marketing Return on Investment for all activities - billboards, road shows, annual CSR etc.

- Progress towards target - short and long term profits, client base, branch expansion

- Revenue per activity

- Sales and marketing team efficiently engaged and attained job satisfaction

- SEO: Lead-to-Close Rate

- Conversion Rate: Sales revenue from leads and also cost per acquisition

- Number of inquiries after activity and conversions to business

- Market performance through ranking by clients and industry

- Project completion rate

- Brand performance index

- Business Development rate

- Customer satisfaction index/survey
