Marketing Managers are responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for an entire organization (or lines of business and brands within an organization) in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.

Their day-to-day tasks include managing and coordinating marketing and creative staff,leading market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing products/services, and liaising with media organizations and advertising agencies.

Key Result Areas : 

- the marketing department exists to find new ways of generating revenues and customers aligned with the fast-moving pace of technology, as well as optimizing and modernizing traditional marketing methods.

- A marketing manager is responsible for managing the promotion and positioning of a brand or the products and services that a company sells.

- Typically marketing managers are employed to attract more customers to buy from the company and to raise brand awareness through the creation of marketing campaigns.

- They'll also analyses the types of customers that a company wants and how to attract them, and they'll figure out ways for the company to better serve the customers they already have

- They'll also ensure that the company sees a good return on any money that is invested in marketing activities.

The marketing manager can be responsible for many diverse activities, such as :

- Website management.

- Social media management.

- Copywriting and content management.

- Ensure that the organization complies with contractual obligations as well as state and federal regulations,

- Conduct market research to inform strategic business decisions

- Oversee branding and marketing endeavors to ensure all efforts are aligned with business goals,

- Negotiate new projects and contract terms with new clients

- Responsible for the Business Line opportunities, tender response, negotiation, and adherence to review & approval requirements. Drive commercial strategies and set pricing
