We are hiring E- Commerce Manager for a start up footwear brand.

The Job :

Key responsibilities areas :

- Managing specialists: Delegating tasks and managing a team of specialists to support you

- Oversee day to day operations with Amazon & Woocommerce store

- Update content website

- Optimization of sales and increase conversion rates

- Analyze internal data and web analytics

- Plan promotional campaigns

- Develop SEO and SEM strategies

- Evaluate website design and discuss plans to improve

- Initiate market research studies

- Daily Monitoring site for maintenance and security

- Maintaining the health of the product : Making sure product listings on Amazon and other platforms are optimized, watching the competitive landscape for similar products, pricing optimizations, review management, and inventory monitoring

Strategic analysis : Looking at the data and understanding sales trends, product conversion, changes in performance, defining potential opportunities

 Project management : Excellence in execution of all tasks related to managing and growing our brand

 Sales Ranking : Creating strategies to improve the organic ranking of our products

Growth : Working with our Category Management, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to create and manage strategies to drive sales including PPC, promotions, and partnerships

Problem-solving : Responding to issues as they arise and coming up with proactive plans to ensure speed and quality of resolution

 Product launches : Managing the launches of new products developed by our Category Management and Merchandising teams

Ideal Candidate : 

Key Competencies : 

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development or related field

- 3-5 years proven experience managing web initiatives

- Highly proficient in HTML, JavaScript, CSS and Content Management Systems

- Great understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

- 3-5 years of experience selling on Amazon and other online marketplaces

- 2-4 years at a Start-up work environment

- Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills. This role will require a significant amount of free-thinking, conclusion drawing, and internal advocacy. You need to be able to thrive in this environment

- A history of obsessing over customer needs and have experience working with, and a passion for, consumer products

- The ability to use online tools with speed.

- Good general understanding of Digital marketing tools and eCommerce instruments

(SEO, SEA, SEM, SMO, SMA AND SMM, Affiliate, Retargeting, Mobile Marketing, Conversion Rate Optimization)

- Knowledge / experience in eCommerce Automation

- Experience of eCommerce KPIs and an understanding of web analytics

- Able to define online sales concepts, customer journeys based on ROI driven business models

- Experience with A/B testing, UX/UI, cross-browser responsive web design techniques;

- Good technological understanding of eCommerce platforms

Understanding eCommerce and Digital Strategy :

eCommerce/Digital experience, understand various type of e-business models and propositions: understand how eCommerce businesses operate in general, capability to learn new methods and technologies

- Capability to understand various business cultures

- Very strong customer focus

- Highly curious, analytical, creative, confident, and persuasive

- Operational & pragmatic thinking:

- Able to able to transform strategic thinking into operational business initiatives that deliver tangible business outcomes

- Excellent analytical ability

- Ability to think outside the box and look for creative solutions

- In touch with the B2C eCommerce /Omnichannel Best Practices

- Ability to conceptualize, plan, coordinate, execute, monitor and report time-based activities

- Manage projects that involve internal, external and 3rd Party stakeholders

- Inspiring others and getting work job done through others

- Get the most and best out of the people in a matrix environment

- Capability to work efficiently with several stakeholders

- A team player who succeed through collaboration

- Excellent relationship management and influencing skills

- You have at least 4 years experience including solid experience in a similar role within Consumer and Internet.
