Job Title : Marketing /Business Development Manager - Admissions / Students Enrollment Manager

Reporting to : Director of Marketing & Admissions

Responsibilities : 


- The Admissions Manager has responsibility, reporting to the Director of Marketing & Admissions for the planning and managing of the College's Admission activities for all recruitment areas.

- Development and management of admission processes in accordance with the policies and standards of Team Lease Skill University

- Evaluate and execute admission decisions on standard applicant files

- Liaise with the Schools, colleges, NSDC centers, ITI/Polytechnic Institutions, Training Centers and and remote areas coaching centers for maximum enrollment of the students for Apprentice programs.

- Organise and conduct admissions interviews, where required

- Development and management of a customer service ethos throughout the admissions process (e.g. ensuring all turnaround times are met)

- Organisation and provision of a comprehensive and streamlined information service, and management and development of relationships with all targeted and potential applicants

- Liaising with and managing relationships with external agencies where necessary (e.g. Schools, colleges, NSDC centers, ITI/Polytechnic Institutions, Training Centers and and remote areas coaching centers)

- Maintenance of comprehensive records and files for all applicants

- Checking of entry requirements in all publicity materials (brochures, flyers, website pages etc.) and ensuring all accurate and update where necessary

- Provision of timely and regular reports to senior management and academic management with up-to-date statistics and analysis of student admissions and making recommendations where necessary (e.g. Admission reports, Exemption analysis reports etc.)

- Responsible for the management of the admissions processes for all programmes in conjunction with the Director/Manager of Admissions/Admissions Committee as appropriate

- Management of the Administrative process to provide support to all Student Recruitment staff (this will in addition include phone follow up on documents for admission)

- Carrying out QA checks on all student recruitment areas

- To monitor and report on applications and take up at programme and school level - e.g. application numbers, offers made, acceptances, conversion

- Additional administrative tasks as delegated by management

Liaison and co-operation with management colleagues, including:

- Development and management of relationships with academic management, including regular interaction with academic management in the School

- Liaising and co-operating with Heads of School or designate in identifying opportunities and formulating proposals for new programmes

- Supporting and co-operating with Head of School and Programme Leaders to secure seamless transition for all students through admission and induction processes

- Liaising with the Office of Academic Affairs concerning implementation of QA policies and procedures and compliance with academic standards

- To research and disseminate information of relevance to management and/or the School, in general such as analysis of competitors offerings and entry requirements, visa requirements, English language requirements etc.

- Identifying trends and opportunities from eligible applicants for opportunities for development

- Acting as a member of DBS committees as appropriate, including the Admissions Committee

Reporting Arrangement : 


- The Admissions Manager will report directly to the Business Head /Director /Senior Manager of Marketing & Admissions and will have a high level of day-to-day autonomy in discharging his/her responsibilities.

Essential Criteria : 

- Educated to Degree level

- Language: Local Language e.g. Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malyalam + English and Hindi

- Must be ready to travel across state, city, village, remote areas for maximum admissions for Apprentice Programs organize by Team Lease Skill University/NETAP.

- Organisational and administrative skills

- Proven ability to communicate information to the public in an effective and professional manner

- Excellent Interpersonal and written communication skills

- Good computer & keyboard skills, preferably including word processing, databases, spreadsheets

- Ability to work effectively and accurately under pressure

- Ability to prioritise and to meet deadlines

- Ability to work as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives

- Flexible approach to work.

- Ability to deal with volume at key periods

- Previous experience of working in an educational institution would be beneficial for this position
