Manager - LCL Sales (4-12 yrs)
Summary :
- Set-up, develop and drive the establishment of a competitive network for our LCL product, including coordination with co-loaders. You will be directly responsible for revenue generation from specified geographical areas and achieving set targets with respect to LCL.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Optimizing our LCL approach, defining proper break points and converting targets per trade lane, from provider/co-load scenarios to direct consolidation containers.
- Working with the management to establish and develop the LCL product into a profitable revenue stream. Focus on maximizing revenue and GP through identifying customers within the assigned territory; meeting and closing deals with the customers. Developing prospective clients, making cold calls and servicing existing clients. Identify and Develop LCL Consolidation program for key trade-lanes with key stake holders. Monitor and Develop Customer Pipeline along with Account Management team.
- Handling LCL RFQs
- As this is a sales role, you will be given targets to achieve within the sphere of LCL, and the majority of your responsibility will be onboarding new clients.
Job Requirements :
- A Bachelor's degree is a must. Minimum 4 years of experience in LCL sales is necessary to be considered for this role.
Preferred Skills:
- Minimum of 4 years of related industry experience in Ocean Freight of which 4 years minimum of LCL product experience.
- Solid experience in Ocean Freight sales and operations.
- Self-starter with commercial acumen
- Advanced interpersonal communication skills and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated experience in solution design and P&L ownership
- Demonstrated product portfolio expertise
- Strategic mindset and strong execution skills
- Customer-focused with excellent attention to detail and drive to serve customers mindset
