Manager - IT Marketing (5-10 yrs)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Manager to guide the development of our business and product sales. The Marketing Manager helps develop, maintain and communicates the vision for the business and products to existing and potential customers. This position requires tight interactions with sales, engineering, product development to ensure that all marketing collateral accurately reflects features and benefits from each user persona and perspective. Responsible for managing the company's marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Interviews, hires, and trains marketing staff members

- Establishes marketing goals based on past performance and market forecasts

- Oversees current offerings and comes up with initiatives for new products or services

- Researches and analyses market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products, and other relevant information to form marketing strategies

- Works with marketing staff to develop detailed marketing plans for all media channels and sales teams

- Approves and oversees the creative development of promotional materials, website content, advertisements, and other marketing-related projects

- Communicates with various media buyers, advertising agencies, printers, and other services to help marketing projects come to fruition

- Provides in-depth information to interested clients, and acts as a representative for the marketing department in important buyer meetings

- Works within the department budget to develop cost-effective marketing plans for each product or service

- Tracks all marketing and sales data and creates detailed written reports and verbal presentations to bring to the Management

- Adjusts marketing campaigns and strategies as needed in response to collected data and other feedback

- Develop the marking strategy for the division in line with company objectives

- Marketing Strategy including positioning, thought leadership, brand awareness, lead generation

- Market engagement strategy

- Develop an analysis of business by Customer Segmentation (Products, Market, etc)

- Work closely with product management team to define marketing materials and programs

- Develop standardized sales scripts, presentations, proposals, quotation etc

- Complete competitive analysis and provide insights to Management

- Marcom - multi channel communications including PR, direct marketing, social media, case studies, social media

- Maintain effective internal communications to ensure all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives

- Recruiting and managing additional team members as the business grows

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

- 5+ years marketing in a technology or industrial business environment

- At least 3 years working at a similar level with demonstrable success

- Bachelors or Masters Degree preferred.

- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities

- Creative, confident, driven and a dynamic leader

- Able to interact across the business (from sales to engineering to operations) and draw resources as needed

- Understands how to drive market perception
