Manager - Industrial Sales - Rotating Equipment (8-13 yrs)

Job Description:

We are looking for Manager- Industrial Sales (Rotating Equipment) for an reputed MNC Industrial product manufacturer for Gurgaon Location.

Main purpose of job:

1. Achieve Profitable annual growth in Organisations Industrial Products in India:

- Rotary products and Turbo fan Products applied in the process drying industries

- Turbo Blowers applied in the water treatment and flotation processes

- Industrial fans in general industries such as food, glass, paper, water, road transport.

2. Set up and manage agents & distribution network across in India to expand market share of Organisation's industrial products in India.

Accountabilities:

1. Meet and exceed annual orders (bookings), margin and sales KPI targets for the territory,

2. Develop and execute specific annual sales plans to ensure sales growth both long and short-term, including:

- Alignment with sales strategy for the business unit,

- Analysis of the customer application requirements and Customer Spend history,

- Analysing competitor activities in the region, and

- Assessing opportunities for business growth and development.

- Collaborating with senior management to establish and execute a sales goal for the territory

- Collaborating with the Product Business Units to contribute to global strategy and feedback information for product development

3. Develop the business within the territory using a variety of sales techniques including:

- Putting together a list of segments and target companies within the area.

- Meet regularly with existing customers and prospects in sales territory to understand their evolving business needs and position product solutions to meet surfaced needs.

Developing a monthly customer visit plan in line with the territory strategy and maintaining this in your Outlook shared calendar,

- Actively promote and build an awareness of Organisation's services strength and capabilities,

- Preparing and submitting accurate and timely proposals,

- Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and prospects and be available and responsive to customers real-time needs.

4. Management of channel partners

5. Enquiry handling and deal closure techno-commercial clarification, commercial offer preparation, negotiation

6. Prepare sales forecast, achieve planned annual booking volume and booked margins (quarter by quarter).

7. Maintain customer relationship to support project execution, action receivables

8. Engage service team in case of any service related issues with customer.

Essential skills, knowledge & behaviours

- Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)

- 7 to 10 years of experience of business development and technical sales for catalogued products in domestic market through both direct sales and distributorship sales.

- Good communication (English, Hindi), presentation and influencing skills.

- High level of drive and determination to achieve set goals.

- Business acumen, familiarity with industrial processes

- Good knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office products.

Desirable skills, knowledge & behaviours

- MBA in General Management, Marketing

- Preferably with experience in handling rotating equipment sales such as fans, blowers, Pumps or air compressors having dealt with sectors described above

- Team Management

- Experience in handling complex Terms & Conditions.

- Negotiation skills.

- User experience in CRM-systems.
