Manager - Export Sales - Agri Commodities (3-10 yrs)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Export Manager specializing in agro commodities such as:-

- Whole and ground spices

- Oil seeds,Maize,Rice ( Non Basmati & Basmati ) Sugar,Coffee,


- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in export sales and possess in-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, market trends, and logistics.

- The Sales Export Manager will be responsible for managing the entire export sales process, from prospecting potential clients to finalizing contracts and ensuring smooth product delivery.

Responsibilities :

Business Development :

- Identify and target potential customers in international markets for agro commodities.

- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and pricing dynamics.

- Develop and implement effective strategies to expand the customer base and increase sales.

Sales and Negotiation:

- Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and agents worldwide.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product information materials.

Export Operations:

- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and documentation.

- Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, finance, production) to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipment.

- Oversee logistics processes, including coordinating shipping arrangements, managing freight forwarders, and resolving any transportation issues.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to identify opportunities and threats.

- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market intelligence, and potential risks to the management team.

- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to optimize pricing, product assortment, and promotional strategies.

Team Leadership:

- Supervise and provide guidance to a team of sales and export professionals.

- Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and support professional development.

- Foster a positive work environment, promoting collaboration, teamwork, and a customer-centric approach.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business, international trade, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

- Proven experience in sales and export management of agro commodities, with a focus on spices, oil seeds, rice, sugar, coffee, or related products.

- Deep understanding of international trade regulations, export documentation, and logistics processes.

- Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully closing international sales contracts.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and make strategic decisions.

- Proficiency in using sales management software, CRM systems, and MS Office suite.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of adaptability and problem-solving skills.

- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Experience : Minimum 5 years

Annual CTC : Rupees 5,00,000 to 10,00,000 Gross with additional incentives.

Locations : On site, Navi Mumbai, Turbhe
