Manager/Director - Sales - Deep Learning AI (10-14 yrs)

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager/Director to be based in Mumbai for our client who is a leader in Deep learning AI.

Requirements :

- You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and closing new deals mainly with BFSI, retail and telecom clients in India.

- You will also take ownership of our existing accounts, strengthen the relationship and drive the revenue growth from these accounts based on win-win propositions to deliver customer success.

- You will build relationships at C-level with our prospects and existing clients, handle any objections and also be their advocate for our internal planning

- You will work closely with exec team, marketing, product management and professional services teams to refine our overall value proposition as needed to establish the client as the most trusted partner in AI.

- You will be on top of latest developments in AI market, figure out how it will affect us and how it should influence our sales strategy.

- You will present to the senior management on a weekly basis the current status of sales pipeline, next steps and forecast for the current month.

- You will keep the CRM system up to date with all contacts, leads, opportunities, and forecast for the year broken down by quarter.

- You are willing to travel to other locations within and outside India as needed.

Ideal Candidate will have :

- 10+years of overall industry experience with at least 5 years in sales/account management role in software product companies - preferably in artificial intelligence/big data analytics space.

- Proven track record of closing deals in the BFSI/retail/telecom verticals in India and strong network of existing contacts.

- Hunger for success, credibility to interact at C-level both internally and externally, the courage to ask tough questions, ability to resolve conflicts and attitude to always bring potential solutions to the table instead of just problems.

- Experience of working in startups (this is not a 9 am to 6 pm job).

- Professional sales training.

Educational Background Requirement :

- A Graduate Degree

- MBA would be a plus
