Manager - Dermatological Sales - Skincare D2C Brand (12-15 yrs)

Recommended by leading dermatologists in India and backed by science, it offers high end skin care products carefully designed for the Indian skin. These are available in travel-friendly, spill-proof and recyclable packages through its own website as well as popular ecommerce portals.

- The company has seen phenomenal growth and has been funded by HUL (Indias largest FMCG co) in their most recent fund raise.

- As a Dermatological Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in promoting, selling, and educating healthcare professionals, particularly dermatologists and aesthetic practitioners, about skincare products from our company's portfolio. You will be building strong relationships, ensuring brand recognition, and driving sales growth within the assigned territory.

What you will do :

- Product Promotion : Effectively promoting and detailing dermatological and skincare products to dermatologists, aesthetic practitioners, and other relevant healthcare professionals, using approved promotional materials and presentations

- Product Knowledge : Developing an in-depth understanding of the cosmetic products offered by the brand, including their composition, benefits, usage, and relevant scientific information, to provide accurate and compelling information to healthcare professionals

- Building Relationships : Building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, identifying their skincare and cosmetic product needs and preferences, and ensuring they are informed about the latest products and treatments

- Market Research : Staying updated on market trends, competitor products, and industry news in the dermatological and skincare sector, providing valuable insights and feedback to the company for strategic planning

- Sales Targets : Setting and achieving sales targets for the assigned products and territories, reporting progress to the Reporting Manager/Sales Head

- Product Training : Attending training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge and sales skills, staying updated with new products and treatment options in the cosmetic and dermatological field

- Compliance : Ensuring strict adherence to ethical and legal standards when promoting and selling products, following the company's guidelines and regulatory authorities' requirements

- Reporting : Maintaining detailed records of sales activities, including call reports, sales orders, and expenses, and submit regular reports to the Reporting Manager/Sales Head

What you need to have :

- Bachelor's degree (In a relevant field like Life Sciences, Pharmacology, or a related discipline will be preferred)

- Minimum 12 years of experience in the dermatological or cosmetic sales industry is required for Regional Sales Manager and minimum 6 years of experience in the dermatological or cosmetic sales industry is required for Area Sales Manager role

- Proven experience as a Sales Representative and Manager in the dermatological or cosmetic industry, with a strong understanding of skincare and cosmetic products

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Proficiency in using technology, such as CRM software and Microsoft Office
