Business Development Manager - Staff Augmentation

Experience: 2-5 years

Location: Indore, MP, India

Job Type: Full-time, On-site

Key Responsibilities:

1) Lead Generation and Client Acquisition:

- Drive business growth by actively generating leads and acquiring new clients for staff augmentation services.

- Utilize strategic approaches, including targeted outreach and networking, to expand the client base and secure new business opportunities.

- Implement innovative tactics to penetrate new markets and capitalize on emerging trends in the staffing industry.

2) Client and Vendor Relationship Management:

- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients and vendors through effective communication, trust-building, and personalized service delivery.

- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their unique staffing needs and providing tailored solutions to address challenges and achieve business objectives.

- Collaborate closely with vendors to ensure the timely sourcing and placement of top-tier talent, fostering a collaborative ecosystem that drives mutual success.

3) Team Leadership and Development:

- Lead, motivate, and inspire a high-performing team of business development executives, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Provide strategic direction, guidance, and mentorship to team members, empowering them to achieve individual and collective goals.

- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and teamwork, driving overall team success and achievement of business targets.

4) Strategic Planning and Execution:

- Develop and execute strategic business plans and initiatives to achieve revenue targets, expand market presence, and drive sustainable growth in the staff augmentation segment.

- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to inform strategic decision-making and identify new opportunities for business expansion and differentiation.

- Implement effective sales strategies, pricing models, and value propositions to maximize profitability and enhance the company's competitive position in the marketplace.

5) Operational Excellence and Compliance:

- Ensure operational excellence and adherence to industry regulations and compliance standards in all aspects of client engagement, contract negotiation, and service delivery.

- Oversee the development and implementation of robust operational processes, systems, and quality controls to optimize efficiency, minimize risk, and ensure consistent service delivery excellence.

- Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization of business operations and service offerings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.

- 2-5 years of experience in business development, with a focus on staff augmentation or recruitment services.

- Proven track record of success in lead generation, client acquisition, and revenue growth.

- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

- Experience managing a team of business development executives, with a focus on driving performance and achieving targets.

- Solid understanding of staffing and recruitment processes, including candidate sourcing, screening, and placement.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements in the staffing industry.
