Manager - Business Development - Semi Conductor Business (10-15 yrs)

- One of our client, a growing Company in Semi Conductor Industry, is seeking a Business development manager (BDM) as a part of the Sales Organization (SO). They are pioneer in board level solutions for various industry verticals, specializing in the semiconductor domain. Sales Organization (SO) team is focused on launching and growing strategic markets. The SO team provides key business inputs for helping the BDM grow their key accounts in the targeted location / Domain .

- BDM with the SO will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment , help to identify and break through medium to large level enterprises . (S)He will not only open new accounts, but shall work with some of the existing customer to deliver superior value and drive the revenue forward .

- (S)He will be responsible for negotiating with multi- functional stakeholders within the organization, devise a strategic business development plan, resolve execution blockers, bring them onboard and execute a joint business plan to ensure success . BDM would also have the opportunity to share recommendations on process improvements for various internal cross functional teams.

Specific Responsibilities : 

- Understand Company requirements, Articulate key benefits to external audiences

- Champion the Business development effort: Build strong communication channel at all levels of customer's organization, set clear expectations, provide frequent status updates and work towards a growth plan

- Conduct analysis on current business and future opportunities and provide routine executive-level reporting. Publish recommendations and action plans based on data.

- Identify high potential markets: Engage with target customers, co-create joint propositions and bring them onboard

Prior Experience / Qualifications : 

- 10+ years of experience in sales or business development

- Bachelor's degree required, MBA is preferred

- Deep understanding of PCBA Industry is required (preferably prior experience in PCBA/ / EMS / Semicon Industry )

- Previous responsibility for strategic business development, high technology services marketing

- Revenue targets and quotas is highly desirable

- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills

- Prior experience influencing C-level executives highly desirable

- Demonstrated active listening skills, highly consultative and solutions-oriented

Location: This position is based out of one of the regional office in Chennai and will require travel
