Manager - Business Development - Seafood Business (7-15 yrs)
Responsibilities :
- Work towards achieving the business targets aggressively
- Promote and nurture relationships with existing customers and external stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for trade through regular interaction with customers and suppliers in the seafood industry both in domestic and international markets to build a robust customer & supplier network
- Liaise with the seafood processors for contract manufacturing of finished goods to furnish export orders globally
- Sales, Procurement and processing of the required grades and quality at a competitive price for servicing the customer requirements & close monitoring for the execution of shipments
- Coordinating with the team to plan and achieve business metrics
- Analyse industry, and market trends and provide reports for decision-making to senior management
Experience :
- 7+ years of working experience in the seafood industry
- Awareness of quality parameters of Seafood
- Must be willing to travel extensively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive cross-functional partnerships to work effectively with peers and various stakeholders
- A positive, flexible, and proactive personality
