IT - Business Development Manager (Public Sectors)

Company: IT company providing software solutions to Public Sector clients

Base Location: Delhi - Rajendra Place

Workdays: 6 days work week

Travelling: Travelling across India

Industry Experience: Experience dealing with Public Sector clients across India for selling services or products

Experience Required: Sales/Business Development to Public Sector clients is essential. Must have prior experience of independently generating leads and converting them to successful deals in Public Sector/ Government Sector/ Municipal Council.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an IT - Business Development Manager you will be expected to deal with the Public Sector clients, generate leads independently and convert them to deals. Your focus shall be on achieving targets by selling IT product & services across India to the Public Sector Clients.

- Do PAN India Sales of software solutions to Public Sector clients by segregating the prospective business into segment wise and business module wise.

- Independently generate lead and convert them to successful profitable deals.

- Define the point of contact with all the concerning departments enabling the effective liasoning system that includes but not limited to: Politicians, Unions, Bureaucracy, Clients

- Responsibility to define the business proposals for clients and ensure that it gets submitted within the stipulated timelines and with all the required documents.

- Collect the information and business insights which are subjected to interest & concern of the company. Identify the Pros and Cons though several strategic approach's enabling management to decide the roadmap on achieving the set targets.

- Conduct research and provide all the necessary information to concerning authorities in order to act promptly on leads generated & converted successfully to deals.

- Ensure effective follow up with internal & external parties in order to adhere to the necessary timelines.
