Manager - Business Development - Pharmaceutical (2-5 yrs)

- We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.

- A Business Development Manager is responsible for helping organizations obtain better brand recognition and financial growth. They coordinate with company executives and sales & marketing professionals to review current market trends in order to propose new business ideas that can improve revenue margins.

Responsibilities :

- Handling existing customers/clients/parties/doctors

- Bring more products from existing customers for contract manufacturing.

- Offer them newer products from our basket & build a bigger portfolio. For that one should have a good understanding of therapy segments & a very good product knowledge is pre-requisite

- Should be able to tour regularly & visit all customers on regular intervals.

- Meeting monthly sales targets & achieving assigned sales targets.

- Attend sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions and symposium circuits

- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.

- Monitor and analyse data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage

- Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback

- Pursue continuous learning and professional development and stay up to date with latest medical data

- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Requirements :

- Proven work experience as a business development professional.

- Familiarity with databases, statistics, product lines and latest medical issues

- Knowledge of MS Office

- Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills

- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in business development.

- Strong organizational and time management skills
