Manager - Business Development - Pharma (5-15 yrs)

Business Development Manager - Nigeria - Pharma :

- Generate new business opportunities to fuel growth of the organization

- Growing and managing a robust opportunity pipeline and following up on marketing qualified leads

- Work closely with teams to drive opportunities to successful closures

- Evangelize Indegene with passion and energy

- Achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities and closed business

- Understand target customers business needs, develop proposals and accurately articulate Indegenes value proposition

- Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders for sales collateral, proposals and legal reviews, and be willing to get into the trenches with the delivery team

- Lead clinical development diligence, including market, competitor, and commercial analysis

- Identify and forge partnerships to supplement our offerings while collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integrations

- Network with academics, patient advocacy groups, KOLs and digital health start-ups

- Find new sales opportunities and turn them into long term partnerships

- Demo/ present capabilities to prospective clients

- Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs.

Requirement :

- Strong aptitude with a genuine curiosity around digital health innovation.

- B.pharma +MBA preferred.

- 5+years of experience in Business Development & Growth/Category Management, ideally working as a 2nd Line or 1st line manager

- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships

- Demonstrated success working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment in either a growth sector or start-up company

- Proven track record of consistent quota attainment by month/quarter/year

- Ability to understand customer needs and meet that need with a successful product or service sale

- Enthusiastic and passionate team player

- Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude

- Strong time management and organizational skills
