Manager - Business Development - Oil & Gas (8-15 yrs)

A leading multi-national contracting company in OIl & Gas maintenance & shutdown sector is looking for Business Development Manager. The position is based out of Mumbai, India, however it requires travel across India.

Experience in leading Sales Team and in Business Development activities for products and services in Oil & Gas sector is necessary. Candidates having experience in maintenance & shutdown for oil refineries shall have an advantage.

Job Description:

- Sales, marketing and business development.

- Maintaining relationships with current customers.

- Developing strategic alliances in existing and new markets, customers and technology partners.

- Opening doors for new customers, attend meetings, presentations, etc., to obtain RFQ- s, bids, tenders and the like.

- Promoting the services of the company and closing business.

- Gather industry intelligence and maintain database, such as, forthcoming shutdowns, customer assets (i.e. heat exchangers, reactors, columns, vessels, etc.,) and competitors.

- Overseeing the timely submission of proposals to customers and follow up as required.

- Attend trade shows and exhibitions where agreed with management and be involved in running exhibitions on behalf of the company.

- Submission of weekly reports as agreed with Group BDM and monthly reports to the Business Unit and Operations Manager

- Monitor and report to management on customer satisfaction as per the ISO system.

- Understand safety rules and regulations in order to apply the duties.

- To cooperate and follow all company rules and regulations and understanding all company policies, procedures and work instructions which related to the duties follow quality, environment, safety and health system.

- To undertake special task whenever required.

- Other duties as assigned.
