Manager - Business Development & Marketing - Steel Fabrication Firm (10-15 yrs)
A Leading Steel Fabrication Company dealing in Local and International Projects where the Marketing Head / Manager- Looks out for new Jobs/Contracts in the Local and International Market.
- Assists in the preparation of the yearly business plan in cooperation with the Business Head and production teams for Commercial MD/CEO's feedback and final approval
- Prepares the unit's annual operating budget, submits to the Business Head for approval and monitors expenditure accordingly
- Sets the strategies and plans, assigns work to the Sale Engineers, and monitors the implementation of the plans ensuring the achievement of the department's objectives
- Revises and adjusts plans according to management quarterly reviews
- Receives all inquiries (technical and commercial documentation) and conducts an opportunity assessment in line with the strategy and vision.
- Monitors and follows-up on the contract & budget process, ensuring the smooth cooperation with Estimation for the scope of costing; Finance for payment terms; Project Management & Contract Administration for contractual terms; Procurement for Bill of Materials; and accordingly revises the projects budget & gets the project manager's acceptance of the budget & management approval on the contract before submittal to the customer
- Attends internal review meetings before the award of the job, and kick-off meeting afterwards meant for communicating information of the project award and orienting the involved Department Heads of the Project Team with all critical details for project initiation
- Travels extensively inside and outside the country for sales/ projects related activities
- GCC License & Experience Must
